Description
Crazy crinkled petals dangled like unironed ribbons, twisting, and turning as if playing a game. The aged and virtually spent sunflowers hung their heads almost in benediction as if to mark the drained colour and the uprightness of their nature. Easily perceived as sullenness, their posture was overridden by the now unpredictable twists of the petals as they played a game of who can possess the most wrinkles. Embracing their age, they leave the stage of life withering but undefeated, as they provide for us one more final twist.
