A simple rendition of a pink crepe myrtle. This flower is a personal favourite of mine, not just due to the colour pink but also due to the frilly, curling petals that are ever so delicate. My heart thrills when I round a corner to see a lavish display of these gorgeous flowers. I gather as many as I dare and fill vases and jugs to my delight.
