High tide coupled with strong winds and violent conditions created a marvellously hypnotic rhythm of water pulsating as it ran the race to the short cliff face. I stood mesmerised and wet from the overspray as the waves crashed over the rocks in their pathway.

Then just as quickly retreated to regroup and begin the experience all over again. I was overjoyed at the strength, the predictability, and directional attitudes of the sea as it played this most ferocious game.
