Description

Charles was one of my Tutors when I was in New York. He was so incredibly kind to me during my stay. I snapped this photo of him one day and sought permission from him afterwards to paint him. He agreed. His quietly confident yet shy nature was what I chose to share on this canvas. The almost fragile use of the oil paint enabled me to express this aspect of who he is.
